OCSA’s Vision

OCSA’s Vision Statement

As a collective of campus ministries, OCSA is a Christ-centered student initiative whose ultimate goal is to promote a united vision for Orthodox Christian campus ministries across the country, focused on the spiritual growth and salvation of each and every individual member. In part, this entails:

  • Providing necessary resources at the request of chapter executives to help them fulfil their mission (e.g. speakers, event planning, start-up advice)
  • Gathering chapter executives for a yearly retreat to uphold the service vision, and to learn from each other’s experiences
  • Actively working to connect Orthodox Students across the country through various initiatives (e.g. student-run publication)

A Place for Everyone

Over the years, Orthodox campus ministries have been a source of fellowship, support and growth for numerous Canadian students. That is why OCSA was founded: to ensure that these services are available to every student on every campus across the country – and wherever Canadian students study abroad.

If you are a campus ministry executive, we aim to help you enrich your service by providing you with necessary resources at your request (e.g. speakers, event planning, more)

If you are a student simply hoping to find Christian fellowship on campus, know that many committed servants are working hard to ensure that your campus/area is served.

If you are a student or local parish member who wishes to contribute to this service in any way, the Orthodox Christian Student Association needs your help. “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few” (Matt 9:37). Send an e-mail to ocsa.ministries@gmail.com to tell us about yourself!

We ask you to keep this service, and everyone involved, in your prayers regularly.
