On the 19th of February, 2017, OCSA’s 1st Annual Fellowship Gala was held at the Canadian Coptic Center with the theme “One Body in Christ” based on Romans 12:5. A total of 460 students and guest priests were in attendance from across the country.

The MC’s for the event were Kerollos Hanna and Clara Sidrak (see video below).

Monica Reyad (OCSA’s Event’s Coordinator) spoke briefly about OCSA’s services and initiatives, as well as how to get involved.

Speakers for the night were Fr. John Botros (St. Moses and St. Katherine Coptic Orthodox Church) who discussed the event theme, and Mina Faheim (One of OCSA’s Co-founders) who discussed OCSA’s vision for a more Christ-like, welcoming ministry.

Activities included an icebreaker, a raffle, and a group trivia exercise.
